The Otterbein Lodge
The Otterbein Lodge is the primary retreat
facility at Camp Rivervale. This facility is equipped with
a full service kitchen, a large meeting / dining room and
will accommodate up to 36 overnight guests in 12
semi-private rooms.
Whitefield & Wesley Lodge
Whitefield Lodge and Wesley Lodge provide
guests with self contained retreat facilities. Each lodge
is equipped with a large communal meeting area, a fully
equipped self service kitchen, and two dorm style sleeping
areas. Both lodges will accommodate up to 32 guests.
Robertson Meeting House
Built in 1807, the Robertson Meeting House
was the first Methodist meeting house in Indiana. This
historic chapel provides guests with a place to reflect and
celebrate the historic ties of Indiana to United Methodism.
Today the chapel is equipped with a modern cooling and
heating system making it ideal for retreat group worship.
Bloomington House
Bloomington House was built in the late 1920’s as a retreat
facility for the Bloomington District. Today it is the only
remaining district house and is utilized as a seasonal
retreat facility for groups of up to 80 guests. This
facility is equipped with dorm style sleeping
accommodations, two communal bathrooms, and a self service
kitchen.
The Tabernacle
The tabernacle provides guests with a state
of the art outdoor program pavilion. This outdoor theater
houses a large stage, a professional light and sound system
and seats up to 300 guests. For your convenience, adjacent
to the tabernacle are newly constructed bathrooms. The
tabernacle is ideal for dramatic performances, large
meetings and group worship.
